Wix
An AI-assisted, no-code website builder with hosting and business-management tools. Artists can build a complete website, EPK, store or fan hub rather than only a bio page. Its broad app ecosystem provides flexibility, but the platform is not music-specific.
- Best for
- Zero-budget artists needing a real site now. Artists and music businesses wanting extensive design freedom, integrated marketing tools and the ability to build everything before paying.
- Skip if
- You'll outgrow the free tier's branding fast. You want a streamlined music-specific platform, simple predictable pricing, easy migration or a polished free site without third-party branding.
- First move
- Launch the free site, upgrade when it earns it. Build the Home, Music, Shows, EPK and Contact pages on the free plan, test the mobile version and upgrade only when ready to connect a domain or sell products.
- Watch out
- Paid plans are billed upfront, ecommerce begins with Core and many apps cost extra. Free domains only cover the first year, and changing templates generally requires rebuilding the site.
