Hypeddit
Download-gate and music-marketing tools platform (gates, smart links, pre-saves) originating in the SoundCloud era, still widely used in dance music.
- Best for
- Download gates and fan-growth swaps in dance music. DIY artists who want to collect fan data and launch Spotify, YouTube or TikTok ads without mastering an advertising dashboard.
- Skip if
- Free downloads aren't part of your strategy. You only need a basic smart link, expect guaranteed growth or prefer complete control over targeting and custom ad creative.
- First move
- Gate one free edit for follows and email signups. Create a free smart link or download gate for your strongest track; if it converts, trial Pro with one small-budget campaign.
- Watch out
- Gate-driven followers are shallow; treat emails as the real prize. The subscription excludes ad spend, Meta account setup can still be cumbersome and automated campaigns may underperform well-optimized custom ads.
