Digital DJ Pool
DJ record pool ($9.99/mo for DJs) offering free artist accounts with unlimited uploads that appear on the pool's New Music feed for subscribed DJs, with download and play data reported back to the artist.
- Best for
- Club-ready tracks and remixes. Independent electronic, house, techno, Afro house, hip-hop and R&B artists with fully original, DJ-ready tracks seeking working-DJ play.
- Skip if
- Your music isn't built for DJ sets. Your music contains covers, samples or interpolations—even cleared ones—or you need guaranteed public spins, direct DJ communication or radio-station pitching.
- First move
- Submit your most club-functional track and watch the download data. Read the user-content terms, then test one fully original, club-ready track and monitor which DJs discover or download it.
- Watch out
- Download counts are unverifiable — DJs rarely make contact, and some downloaders may be collectors rather than working DJs.
- Reach
- Focused
- When
- Worth it once you have releases out.
