BBC Music Introducing
The BBC's free submission platform for unsigned UK-based artists: uploaded tracks enter a pool reviewed by local BBC shows, with pathways to national airplay and festival slots. Open to UK artists only.
- Best for
- The BBC's open door if you qualify as UK-based. UK-based emerging artists with a polished, radio-ready release and a strong connection to their local music scene.
- Skip if
- You have no UK residence or base. Your act has no UK connection, or you need guaranteed airplay, individual feedback or targeted outreach to specific commercial DJs.
- First move
- If UK-eligible, complete the artist profile and upload your strongest clean single near its release date, using the track notes to summarize the story, local connection and current momentum.
- Watch out
- UK artists only; a US base disqualifies you. Competition is extremely high, selection varies between regional teams and neither airplay nor feedback is guaranteed. Uploads are limited, so avoid submitting unfinished material or weaker catalog tracks. Only UK-based artists are eligible.
