Songfinch

A selective direct-to-fan marketplace where approved musicians earn money writing and recording personalized original songs.

Best for: Singer-songwriters who can reliably write, perform, record and deliver polished custom songs on deadline.
Skip if: You dislike client briefs, revisions or personalized songwriting, or use AI-generated vocals and songs in your workflow.
First move: Review the required deliverable, prepare strong live and production samples, then submit the artist application.
Watch out: Acceptance is selective, deadlines can be demanding and custom work may not advance your original artist catalog; clarify rights and revision boundaries.
Reach: Established
When: Worth it once you have releases out.
