Eurosonic Noorderslag (Groningen): the January showcase that sets European festival season — strong European-artist focus and direct festival-booking outcomes via the ETEP exchange program.

- European acts ready for festival-booker exposure at showcase level.

- You cannot tour Europe if bookings follow. You are ineligible under its European passport rules, still developing your live set, lack an international release or touring plan, or cannot justify the travel costs without guaranteed bookings.
- First move
- Check eligibility — selection often runs through export offices. Prepare for the ESNS 2028 application by contacting your national export office, sharpening your live video and EPK, and identifying the European agents and festival buyers you want to meet.
- Watch out
- Selection is extremely competitive—ESNS received roughly 6,000 applications for 2027. A showcase is short, bookings are not guaranteed and most value comes from meetings arranged before the event plus disciplined follow-up afterward.
