SessionLinkPRO
Browser-based remote recording at studio quality from Germany: the far end clicks a link, no install, while you capture broadcast-grade audio. Beloved in voiceover; equally useful for remote vocal sessions.
- Best for
- Recording a remote vocalist who owns zero software. Producers, engineers and studios recording remote vocalists, voice actors or musicians who can join through a simple browser link without purchasing or installing software.
- Skip if
- Both ends already run pro remote tooling. You want a talent marketplace, an asynchronous cloud DAW, effortless integration with every audio interface, live ensemble jamming with imperceptible latency, or a one-session day pass.
- First move
- Run a test session on a day pass before booking talent. Request the 7-day trial and run a wired test using the exact browser, audio interface, DAW routing and remote performer setup planned for the real session.
- Watch out
- There is no current day pass, and each product requires its own license. Google Chrome and a wired 48 kHz setup are recommended; DAWs such as Pro Tools can prevent the browser from accessing an interface and may require virtual routing software. Connection quality still depends on both participants’ internet, and the company offers only limited support for custom studio-routing problems.
